International football coach James Mckay who has recently returned from coaching in the USA Singapore and China will be launching a Brazilian Football Academy in Newark in January 2012.
The purpose of a Brazilian Football Academy is to coach techniques for the individual player. The emphasis of the coaching sessions will be to work on players skills and ability with the ball. This will all be done in a fun environment to exciting high tempo music (when indoors). The origins of this coaching is based around Futebol de Salão. The last week of the 10 week programme will end in a finale!

They will begin with taster sessions from the 27th December and continue with the full 10 week course programme from 24th January. (see details below)

James is an experienced FA level 1 and 2 coach who has gained wide understanding of football through the management and coaching of international teams and from working in the Brazilian Soccer School in Singapore and also for 4 years in Beijing ,China working for China Club Football where he took his "Forbidden City" Club to 4 consecutive winter championships.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
James Mckay is currently studying towards a MSc in Sport Coaching at Loughborough University and a FA UEFA Level 'B' course. After completing his Bachelors of Arts (Honours) in Business Management and Sports Studies at Manchester Metropolitan University he sought to gain a range of coaching experience and placements. This has included engaging with pupils of all ages as well as seeking overseas experience to broaden horizons and provide understanding of different cultures.
